How far do you go in your faith journey?

Mother Theresa went all the way to India to show her love of God.  This is a very good example but do you need to go that far?

I met Clark Paradise who shows his love of God by establishing, doing and expanding Your Grandmothers Cupboard.  This is a grass roots effort to help those less fortunate that are around us.  The group gathers mostly clothing and some food and travels to places around that have "soup kitchens".  I like the name "Faith Kitchens" better.  These are located in many different towns.

The trip is in a truck or trailer loaded with boxes and containers of shirts, pants, sweaters, socks, etc. in sorted sizes.  The boxes are set out so that those in need can choose the sized articles of clothing that they need.  He makes a "faith journey" to show his love for God.  He goes to the people where they are.  The other step is the respect that he gives each one.

Where is your faith journey leading you?  You can start one at any time.  If you can't seem to get started, then you can be part of this faith journey.  The website is: http://www.yourgrandmotherscupboard.org/.  The address is:

I pray to the Father that He sends the Holy Spirit to instill in you the powerful love to show others His caring.  I ask this in the name of Jesus and His promise that this will be done.  Amen.
