The book of John is about love. The love of God for each one of
us. Some groups have taken the book of John as their one, main
and only source of inspiration. We should take the entire Bible as our one, main and only source of inspiration.
This section contains the final instructions to His disciples. It
was His final words following the institution of Holy Communion at the
last supper until the time of His arrest in the Garden of Gethesmanie.
I
have discovered that the 14th through the 17th chapters of John
to be very inspirational and it is a summary of Jesus' entire
mission. Together with the 5th through 7th chapters of Matthew it
gives us our own "little guide book" in living here on Earth in God's
kingdom.
