There are many
ways we have been taught to be better stewards or citizens in caring
for God's world.
- We know to
turn off the kights when leaving a room and not returning in a minute
or two.
- We have been
taught to turn off the water when brushing our teeth or shaving as this
will save water.
- We have been
taught to recycle cans and bottles as this will save a lot of resources.
- We have been
taught to turn off the motor when parking or sitting for a while.
It saves gas and makes lees carbon dioxide.
- We are asked
to recycle the plastic bags that groceries come home from the store.
- We are asked
to turn down the heat at night to save energy and money.
- We have been
promoting the use of energy efficient appliances.
- We have been
promoting the use of energy efficient light bulbs that last longer and
use less current.
- We have been
asked to car-pool and use buses and public transportation.
Now we are
hoping that you consider these ideas in your daily life. We will
add new ones as soon as we can.
This is a guide to better stewardship of what
God has given you. This was inspired by Help
the Homeless, a public charity, and our
website sponsor.
On these pages you will find sound and
practical ideas on doing more with what you already have so that you
may have more to share.
We pray that you will make good use of these
ideas and God will receive thanks and praise,
All
this work is dedicated to God.
